Testimonials: What People Are Saying

What educators have said about Bunny Hull and Dream A World Education:

About multiple programs:

Through her Secrets of the Heart and Dream A World artist-in-residency series, Bunny has designed programs that are focused on authentic arts experiences for students that are tied to overarching enduring understandings. This is a powerful way to frame learning for children through themes such as Friendship, Courage, Truth and Kindness that connect across curriculum areas and into a student's personal life experiences. Bunny provides a program that brings the arts to life and makes it relevant for all learners and the inherent joy in her programs is tangible to students.

- Leonardo Bravo,
Director, School Programs, Music Center, Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County

About the "Dream A World" Workshop:

"It takes an extremely gifted person to conceptualize a project that can be so challenging and inspirational for young people, and which gave each and every student an opportunity to participate successfully. You brought an extraordinary new dimension to the everyday lives of our students and I send you my deepest thanks and gratitude for what you have taught them and shared with them."

- Claire Rexon, Assistant Principal, Rosemont Elementary, Los Angeles, California

About the "Peace In Our Land" Workshop:

"In one hour Bunny Hull took a class of 40 students and united them...making them all feel important and needed....Her drop of peace workshop and song showed the children how easy it is to make a real difference. Her words of love and peace are beautiful for children of all ages."

- Heidi Bice, 5th Grade teacher, Ruby Thomas Elementary, Las Vegas, Nevada

About the "Secrets of the Heart" Residency

"You have the gift. The reflection which has emerged for me has to do with the "presence" of our K students. Since "Secrets," the children are much more confident and present in their work. I feel like this project truly bonded them to the school and to themselves. For me this is very real, very tangible."

- Brad Rumble Principal, Leo Politi Elementary, Los Angeles, California

"Secrets of the Heart encompasses the drama and story-telling components of literacy education which is sorely lacking in today's curricular programs. I encourage educators to take advantage of it."

Chris Ikeanyi, Principal, Grant Elementary School, Los Angeles Unified School

"Secrets of the Heart captures the wonder found within children--imagination, happiness, peace and, most importantly, love. The music and the message soar long after the performance ends."

- Brad Rumble Principal, Leo Politi Elementary, Los Angeles, California

About the "Heroes Project"

"Bunny Hull was an inspiration to the Gifted and Talented Coordinators and teachers in District K. The song she wrote for the Heroes project was used by many of our schools and the students loved it!! Many of our teachers used it in many of the cultural programs that were presented following the professional development workshop presented by Bunny. We are inviting Bunny back to present it to parents of our gifted students!"

- Jacquie Augustus, Specialist, GATE Programs, Local District K, Los Angeles, California
